Connecting to Yourself: We live in a fast-paced and complicated world. There are more things than ever before that can instantly occupy our time and lure away our attention. When this time and attention is always given to other people and other projects, we have no time or energy left for ourselves. If we are broken, who will look after us? In order for us to truly live our deepest wishes and desires, we need to first take some personal quality time to rest, re-balance and connect to ourselves. After all, desires are the energetic essence of the universe. Even ‘enlightenment’ requires a desire. For us to tap into and be clearer about our wishes and desires, we need to experience ‘true’ rest first.
Why Yoga Nidra?
This is not rest like in watching TV, surfing on social media or drinking a glass of wine. No, this is a deeper rest than most people get from a night of sleep. It’s a rest that intelligently and systematically brings us into the present moment (not past or future) by reconnecting us to the gross and subtle impressions, feelings and sensations within our bodies & minds. It relaxes, balances and creates a friendlier relationship between us and our thoughts and emotions. Once we experience this ‘true’ rest, we can then more easily feel, process and manifest the deeper desires that open the doors to more clarity, calmness and fearlessness in life. This true rest that leads to meditation is called YOGA NIDRA and it can be a very useful tool for people to better ‘flow’ instead of ‘force’ things to happen in life.What You will learn & experience:

Eric first discovered Yoga Nidra guided meditative practices in 2008 and became a Yoga Nidra guide and teacher internationally. This transitioned into the development of a seated self meditation practice with the guidance of his spiritual teacher, Peter Marchand, since 2018. Since then, his meditation practices and teachings have expanded to include various tantric and yogic techniques for meditation that have enabled him to ‘let go’ more easily in both meditation practices and in daily life. His vision now is to share his teachings with anyone interested in living more holistically and realizing happiness and peace from within.
